We have dedicated the whole of February 2017, to House-Helps.
The goal of the exercise is to:
- Arouse public consciousness to celebrate House Maids/Boys for answering the call of service.
- Galvanize support for improved recognition of the role of House Maids/Boys.
- Draw attention of the public, to rise against those that intimidate and suppress House-Helps
- Call on they that use their services to respect them, to know the importance of creating time for them, hugging, and praising them regularly for their efforts and contributions.
- Underscore the truth that their role, like many other is complimentary and essential.
- Demonstrate the virtue and dignity in their willingness and acceptance to serve
- Condemn in totality all acts of inhuman treatment against them.
