Good day dearly beloved friends on this platform. How has your week been? For those of you in school, do you have anything to share with us?

If you had your final year Senior Secondary School Examination (SSCE), the one organized by the National Examination Council (NECO) for the SS3 students in Nigerian secondary schools that ended recently; or your school examination or any other one for that matter, how did they go?
Please share your experiences with us. My believe is, you felt the presence of the Holy Spirit in helping you to remember what you were taught and what you studied on your own during your personal reading moments.
Apart from working very hard to answer the examination questions, are you also making similar efforts to apply some of the lessons you learnt in school in your domestic or daily life?
In case you are not in school, don't think you are forgotten. I believe you also saw evidence of the presence of the Holy Spirit around you.
Perchance there is someone here who is passing through some challenges, or is faced with a difficult situation, I pray the Almighty God see you through. May the Holy Spirit be your guide and empower you to victoriously overcome the situation. Amen.
As the saying goes, confiding in other people allays pain. I invite you to share your experience with us on this platform, in particular, yours truly, the Anchor of the platform. Doing so will not only help you to ease of, but can also enable other people to offer their words of encouragement to you in any way they can. It will also enable those that have been in similar situation to render their advice based on how they overcame the challenge(s) or are managing it.
We thank God for the end of this first working week in the second half of the year 2024, praying for more strength and grace to keep being ambassadors of His kingdom in all our endeavours as we move further.
In my last post here, we discussed gap standing, particularly the meaning and some practical ways the Kingdom minded teens and kids can become gap standers. If you missed that post, please click this link to read it.
Following that topic: Gap Standing, we are in this piece going to look at something many of us are guilty of. I will call it "Village People Syndrome".
We often hear people say things like:
- "My village people are after me"
- "Your village people are shaking your calabash"
- "Your village people are calling your name" and so on.
The above occurs when bad things happen or when people misbehave. You almost never hear "village people" when something good happens.
- Do such scenarios worry you at all?
- Are the villages all about bad things?
- Do bad things occur in the Cities?
- Do good things happen in the villages?
Why, why, why is the thing that is readily on my mind presently.
- Why are the village people remembered for negative or bad things only?
- Are there positive stories from the villages?
Please, let us know what your views are in relation to the questions raised above. Your views obviously are highly valued.
Remember, when you share your views and experiences, others learn from them. As kingdom minded, success driven teens and kids, we are here to learn together and benefit from each others experience always.
I await your responses...

Thank you for providing this platform. More power to your elbows.
A lot of negative stories emanate when people travel to their villages for burials. Sometimes, some don't make it back to the city as they become involved in fatal accidents that takes their lives.
The village usually contains the roots of everyone in the city. And a huge percentage of the population in most African villages are still into idol worship. When the destiny of a particular person is intended to be captured, he is traced back to his roots and the attack is launched from his village, especially by a member of his lineage who is involved in occultism.
Notwithstanding, we believers have a different story. We are not susceptible to the things of the world. Greater is He who lives in us than he that is in the world.
I have a great destiny and I will fulfill it by the grace of God. I am responsible for how my life turns out.
People say these things to explain bad or wrong things happening. This is not true.
The things a person does secretly and openly , in love or in hate, positively or negatively always affect such person back
As believers, You are not subject to "village people" ,you are of God. By the the Spirit of God, connect to Him so that he can order your actions and so you can get positive, happy and good results and events in you life.
