By Chinazaekpere Nnabugwu, your Anchor and Host.

Dear Kingdom-minded, Success Driven Friends and Partners, Welcome to “Naza’s Corner”, your On-line weekend Platform dedicated to Teens and Kids desirous of interacting with others and who are genuinely committed to converting Peer Pressure to Peer Learning.

Recall that last week, I indicated that some of us, Teens and Kids, most especially, the Nigerians, were due to resume classes after the long vacation. In that report, I specified that some schools will be resuming on Monday, 11th of September, 2017, while others, like the one I attend, will be resuming on the 18th.

What I did not tell you then, was that I was on air, as Guest of Aunty “Mercy Chuwang” the very wonderful On-Air-Personality (OAP), whose passion for Teens and Kids has no match, to discuss as usual issues of interest to Success driven Teens and Kids.

UNDERSTAND YOUR ATTENTION SPAN AND RESPECT IT

By Nnabugwu Chinazaekpere, Anchor and Host.

The piece, you are about to read, started on a previous link with the title ATTENTION SPAN: WHAT A GREAT REVELATION AND A WONDERFUL THING TO KNOW. Please click here to join the linkhttps://onesquarebell.blogspot.com.ng/2017/09/attention-span-what-great-revelation.html

Those of you coming from the link are already conversant with the preliminary side of the story. As for those reading this particular segment of the story for the first time, you may wish to click on the link to read the preliminary part. However, I still consider it necessary to refresh your memory, not minding whether you are coming to the Platform for the first time or not. For this reason, let me refresh your mind with the last segment of the write-up, starting with the portion that reads:

ATTENTION SPAN: WHAT A GREAT REVELATION AND A WONDERFUL THING TO KNOW

By Nnabugwu Chinazaekpere

Dear Kingdom-minded, Success Driven Friends and Partners, another Weekend of impartation, education, information and entertainment is here on “Naza’s Corner”, your Platform.

I am highly delighted for the great support you all are giving me. From the drivers’ seat, I’ve been struggling to make the Platform worth your while. My appeal is for you to be patient with me. As usual the promise from this end is: It will continue to be better.

At this point, let me make something very clear. My definition of “It will continue to be better”, which as a matter of fact came from my understanding of our engagement on this Platform, which I belief/interpret to mean that as friends and success partners, we shall “PUSH AND PULL” together. Remember the saying: “The more the merrier”. Therefore, the more your opinions, comments and responses interface with mine on this Platform, the better for all of us.

PORCUPINES: THE PRICKLIEST OF RODENTS

By Nnabugwu Chinazaekpere, your anchor and host.

Dear Kingdom-minded, Success Driven Friends and Partners. I welcome you again to your Weekend On-line Platform "Naza's Corner", dedicated for Teens and Kids for converting Peer Pressure to Peer Learning.

Please sit back, read and enjoy facts about the Porcupine. Remember to comment after reading.

The Porcupine is the prickliest of rodents, though its Latin name means "Quill Pig." There are about two dozen Porcupine species, and all boast a coat of needle-like quills to give predators a sharp reminder that this animal is no easy meal. Some quills, like those of Africa's crested Porcupine, are nearly a foot, that is, 30 centimeters long.

MANTIDS: ONE EAR, USEFUL TO MAN, EATS INSECTS HARMFUL TO PLANTS AND CROPS.

By Chinazaekpere Nnabugwu, your Anchor and Host

Dear Kingdom-minded, Success Driven Teens and Kids. Welcome to "Naza's Corner"

Before you go ahead to read about the Mantids, let me quickly appreciate some of the greatest minds on this universe, among them, is our own “Dear Aunty Mercy Chuwang” of 104.3 TincityFm Jos, for her wonderful effort at grooming Teens and Kids in Plateau state, Nigeria. She is so amazing; can go to any length to ensure, that the best opportunity is available to Teens and Kids.
It is also important for us to appreciate another icon, in the person of Uncle Sho, whose real name is Shola Faloye. Like Aunty Mercy, he has and is still investing so much in the life of Teens and Kids, under the “Future Giants Project”. Working with him, we recently concluded a project for Nigerian Television Authority (NTA).

THINGS WE CAN DO TO OVERCOME NEGATIVE ATTITUDES

By Chinazaekpere Nnabugwu, your Anchor and Host. (Naza's Corner)

Dear Kingdom-minded, Success Driven Friends and Partners, recall that last week we started a discussion on attitude, which was titled: Attitude: A little thing that changes the direction of Life. You will also recall that we did not conclude discussion on the topic. We instead promised to continue with the discussion this week.

In case you did not read the one of last week please click on this linkhttps://onesquarebell.blogspot.com.ng/2017/08/attitude-little-thing-that-changes.html

Instead of continuing with the topic as it was phrased last week, I wish to plead with you to understand with me, as I have made some adjustments, hence the topic of today. The idea is to take you directly to the issue for discussion. Once again, please bear with me.

Having said that, let me formally welcome you on board today’s journey. Please fasten your seat belt, for a smooth take off and of course proper landing.

LESSONS FROM HIM "THE MASTER AND KING OF KINGS": A MEAL TO EAT.

Dear Friends and success Partners,
Welcome to “Naza’s Corner: Your weekend On-line Platform for the success minded Teens and kids”. I wish to share with you, this Story. Please settle down and enjoy it. The story is entitled:
A MEAL TO EAT.

Ellie awoke Saturday morning and quickly looked out of the window. Yes, the sun was shining. It looked a beautiful day. There was a workday at church today, and she had hoped it would be nice. Workdays were always fun. She could play with her friends, and there was always a potluck dinner under the trees with lots of good things to eat.

THE "NIGHTINGALE": THE NIGHT SONGSTRESS

Dear Friends and success Partners. Welcome to “Naza’s Corner: Your weekend On-line Platform for the success minded Teens and kids”. Please enjoy this story on the NIGHTINGALE Bird.

Nightingale bird, the night songstress, is globally adored for its melodious and magical voice. It looks awfully cute and is often regarded as a romantic bird. For its beautiful voice, creativity and spontaneous singing, it has always been a source of inspiration for different poets and musicians. Eminent poets like John Keats and Shelley have often glorified these birds in their poetry. Nightingale is a morning bird but can be heard singing at dawn. In evening, these songstresses sing even louder to make up for the background noises produced in the wake of various activities. When threatened, it produces a frog-like croak. The best time to listen them, conveniently, is at night!

LITTLE THING THAT MATTERS: A CAPTIVATING STORY OF A YOUNG MAN

By @mercyadieor Mercy Akula.

I come from a very humble upbringing. Nairobi’s slums have always been my home and life’s luxuries were not always awarded to me. The basic necessities were always provided.

My experience behind the lens started not so long ago in 2013. It begun more as a hobby than anything else, until I realized that the world needed to see the beauty that is in the slums, portrayed by the pictures I took. It hasn’t been a smooth road. At first I would use my phone to capture the images, and then I moved to the camera. Walking around, borrowing cameras from friends, transferring them to my phone and then, sharing them on social media. Through hard work, consistency and a lot of perseverance, last year I got my own laptop and camera. They have been very fundamental in my work so far.

… MY CALL FROM THE WILDERNESS TO YOU ON DEMOCRACY DAY IN NIGERIA!

By Nnabugwu Chizoba

The story was told of an old Mule, who accidentally fell into a farmer’s well.

For your information a Mule is the offspring of a Male Donkey (jack) and a Female horse (a mare). Note that Horses and Donkeys are of different species. From available records, a horse has 64 chromosomes, and a donkey has 62. The Mule ends up with 63. Mules can be male or female, but because of the odd number of chromosomes, they can’t reproduce.

...THE EFFORTS OF OUR HEROES PAST SHALL NEVER BE IN VAIN! CELEBRATE A GREAT ENTREPRENEUR!

THE HISTORY OF 'MAMMY MARKETS'
It was in 1959. Mammy Ode, a young girl from Jericho-Ugboju in the present Otukpo Local Government Area of Benue State was married to Anthony Aboki Ochefu, a young Non-Commissioned military officer who had just been posted to Enugu from Abeokuta. They were quartered at the Army Barracks, Abakpa, Enugu.

To beat idleness and perhaps earn some money to support her young family, Mrs. Mammy Ochefu established a soft drinks business. She prepared gruel, which is called umu or enyi in Idoma, or kunu in Hausa, for sale to soldiers. She soon became popular with her stuff as soldiers trooped to her house to buy enyi. Some of her best customers were officers, who always sent their batmen to buy some of the gruel for them, Monday through Friday.

THIS WEEK END STORY "HE MERELY NEEDED SHELTER, WHILE IT WAS RAINING."...A MUST READ

"Late in 1994, an 87 year old man passed on in a village close to Amai, Kwale, Delta State. The late man's grandson, Ufiaka (26 years old and fairly educated), was given some money and asked to travel to Agbor to buy a fine casket for his grand pa's burial. Ufiaka left base early and arrived Agbor in good time to purchase the casket and make the return journey same day.

CONFRONTING THE CHALLENGES THEY FACE: THE HOUSEMAIDS/BOYS

By Nnabugwu Chizoba

It is on the basis of this that I now invite you my esteemed follower and reader, proven and tested defender of rights, hope of the oppressed, and the shining light for a better tomorrow; to share your views. The more we do this, the more enlightened the society is and the better we all become. Welcome on board! Please share you thought.
