Mrs Amaka Anukam (middle), always sorrounded by the Teens and Kids |
Continuing with the celebration of our January born teens and kids icons and lovers, our dear Mummy, Pharmacist Mrs Amaka Anukam is next on the list. Please keep reading as she is celebrated.
Pharmacist Mrs Amaka Anukam, is a very special person, especially to the younger generation. She is a wife, mom and the Mama Yard of St. Pirans Anglican Church. Mama yard is an honoured and revered way of referring to the Wives of the Vicars of Anglican churches in the axis of Jos, Plateau State. Mrs Amaka Anukam is also the Girls Guild and Boys Guild (SPG² and SPBG) coordinator of the church.
Please share with us on this Platform if the same coinage "Mama Yard" is also used in your location. If what applies in your area is different, please don't hesitate to also update the house.
The focus of this publication, the one we are celebrating, our dear Mummy, the Mama Yard of St. Pirans Anglican Church on the Plateau, is a University lecturer, indeed a capacity developer and life builder.
Her unquenchable thirst for capacity building and heavy interest on drawing the younger generation out of destructive tendencies has always led her to organise at regular intervals, timely, carefully-designed and properly packaged, supervised and facilitated livelihood and life-support trainings.
Her programmes are deliberately and carefully designed to entertain, educate and empower her target, the younger generation, and make them increasingly more productive, more reliable and more self-dependent global citizens.
Late last year, Mrs Anukam organised a hangout for SPG² and SPBG where she exposed them to various areas of productive lifestyle, promoting their creativity and problem solving skills.
Her quest to develop the young minds and encourage them to harness their talent and deploy such in the service of the Almighty God, has always led Mrs Anukam, to provide opportunities for the skillful ones to be exposed. For this reason she provides the opportunity for some of them to perform alongside established artists in different fields and works of life.
A typical example of this was when she organised a program designed to expose the SPG² on their Girls Guild day, which was celebrated in the church. Mrs Anukam, invited a popular, young female gospel musician, and made provision for up coming artists in the Church to perform with the artist as a confidence building strategy.
Our darling mummy, Pharmacist Mrs Amaka Anukam is indeed an excellent life moulder and a caring transformer, a great woman worth celebrating, even far beyond her birthday. Join the celebration...
