ANOTHER VACATION TIME IS HERE

Hello dear kingdom-minded, success-driven teens and kids. It’s been a while we interacted on this Platform. Fact is, I have missed you all so much. Though I may not exactly point out where you are reading this from, I can assure you that we’re connecting with you deeply in the spirit. Thanks for being part of us on this platform, and for introducing more people to make our engagement more inclusive, expansive and richer in both context and content.

For most of you Teens and Kids in Nigeria, my thinking is you are done with your promotional examination, and some of you are already on vacation. From my location, Jos Plateau state, it is more or less a taboo to go on vacation after the promotional examination without having what we call the “Speech and Prize Giving Day”. This is mostly organized by the private schools.

For those of you whose school have conducted the “Speech and Prize Giving Day”, and you’re already gallivanting and enjoying your vacation, please don’t hesitate to share your experiences, especially, those exciting moments and challenges. You know very much, how important capturing the lessons learnt and sharing them are to us on this Platform. For those who are yet to conduct theirs, could you do us a favour? Begin now, to carry us along with your releases to update us with your program of activities, in relation with the coming event. Keep doing this until the “D-Day”, and thereafter share with us your experiences and challenges too, regarding the event proper.

Hello! In case “Speech and Prize Giving Day” is not in vogue in your school, or generally, area of location, this does not mean that you don’t have anything to share with us. Please tell us what obtains in your area. The format of presentation is the same. We abhor stinginess of all kinds, especially those relating to not presenting or sharing with us the report of the activities of your school. No excuse will be good enough, mind you. Even when you are in the same school, we expect individual reports. Of a truth, there will always be individual or personal perspective to every issue. Share your own perspective. We are itching to read from you. Flood here with your stories. I can assure you the lessons will be huge. There is love in sharing, and the more the merrier.

For the graduating Group, those we refer to as the Senior Secondary Class 3 (SS3), in Nigeria, we celebrate with you in advance, waiting and hoping that very soon you will step forward to pop your Champaign with us on this Platform. If you’re in support, say Yeee, and those against say Nay… and the Yeeez have it.

Talking about the Speech and Prize Giving Day, yours truly belongs to the category whose school has not organized theirs. But that is not even the gist. Are you already waiting, salivating and anxious for me to release, with a bang, the eye popping, heartwarming and very cheering news? I won’t keep you waiting for too long. The good news is:

I am not only involved with the Speech and Prize Giving Day, mine is crowned with the Silver Jubilee of my school. I and some of my mates on this platform are among the lucky set, whose graduation from the school coincides with the Silver Jubilee Celebration of their school. Does this call for more Champaign in the house? Anyway, the ball is your court. Until I get your response on this I won’t speak further on it. Thus, I hereby suspend the Silver Jubilee gist, until further notice.
