CHILDREN'S DAY CELEBRATION ACTIVITIES: THE BENEFITS TO THE CHILDREN
In 1964, May 27th, was set aside as Children's Day, in Nigeria. From that year, till date, Nigerian Children are celebrated every year on May 27th. The day is used to draw attention or create awareness about the needs, challenges and problems that children face, and to commemorate, honour and treasure the Almighty's greatest gift, the priceless possession on earth, the children.
The day no doubt, also offers a huge opportunity for the older generation of Nigerians, to reflect into their lives. This singular act of the older citizens, enables them to recollect their days as the little children of their own time.

CHILDREN'S DAY CELEBRATION: THE ST PIRANS CHURCH EXAMPLE
In my previous publication I noted very clearly that May 27th of each year is Children's Day in Nigeria. As Kingdom minded teens and kids, I wish to share with us as a mark of appreciation the efforts of St. Pirans Anglican Church, Jos, Plateau State in celebrating her Children, during the Children's Day celebration.
I will through this present publication share with you how the Church, the St. Pirans Anglican Church, Jos, celebrates the Children's Day by ensuring that the original concept of the day is not loss but retained in the Church and in the life of her numerous Children. The Church has as an Institution firmly rooted to promote the ideals of the Christian Faith in every ramifications, continuously through the Children's Day celebration activities shown in character and principles that St Pirans Church on the Plateau, is a place for the Children.
WE DON'T INHERIT THE EARTH, WE BORROW IT FROM OUR CHILDREN... Few things to ponder as Nigeria celebrated her children, May 27, 2023
Dearies all over the Globe, it is in the Spirit of the season (Children's Day) in Nigeria that I write this piece. For this reason, I am starting on a very special, indeed fundamental note, saying with a joyful heart, Ndewonuooo! Ekaarooo! Sanunguooo! (greetings in the three major Nigerian languages - Igbo, Yoruba and Hausa respectively. I have over-stretched each greeting for emphasis, in line with and in total submission to the Spirit of celebration.
Dearly beloved Teens and Kids, how are you all doing? Do I have any reason to resign, become doubtful, descend or come down from my highly cherished, honoured but self-imposed position as your advocate?
