OUR LIVES AS EVAGELISM MATERIAL TO OTHER PEOPLE

Grandma with three out of her numerous grand and greatgrand children: L-R Aunty Chinenye, Ihechi and yours truly (you now know where I got my looks from, laughs 😊😁 )

Hi dearies and happy end of the first half of the year; and by His Grace the beginning of the second half.

As Kingdom minded teens and kids, we are encouraged to constantly study God's word and to saturate or fill our hearts with it. In addition to these two,  we are also required to apply the Words of God as contained, and as a matter of fact imposed on us by the Holy Book, the Bible, and in doing so ensure that the Bible reflects in our lives as the testimonial we go about with.

It is worthy to note that when people hear us declare that we are Christians,  they start watching us, all our actions now become under their surveillance. They may even begin to do things to us that might not be so pleasant as a way of testing us.

We need to constantly ask the Holy Spirit for guidance and wisdom, to handle such situations when they surface and the people too.

Part of the application of God's word to our lives is to live without harbouring any negative feelings or thoughts about anybody, even if they offend us.

Some people may never get to read the Bible themselves, the Bible they'll ever read may be the life that they see you live, the words you say, your reactions or responses to people and situations, especially offensive ones.

As we mark the end of the first half of the year, and prepare to usher in the second, let us reflect on our lives and bring out/note areas that we need to do better in, and dedicate to changing those aspects of us for the better. Of course prayer can never be overemphasized. After noting them, it is vital to commit them to God to help us achieve our commitment.

This work is written in two years remembrance of my grandma, late Mrs. Nnabugwu Asijie Ihuomakaliwu, who passed on to glory on 30th June, 2022. She was a woman of faith, who made the Bible her best friend and whose life truly depicted one that was led by the Holy Spirit, who by her actions, words and conduct, showed that she was an ardent follower of Christ and believer of the word.

You may be gone from this side of existence, but certainly not forgotten.
