Helloooo my dear lovely friends, and lovers of the kingdom of our Saviour, the Great King of Kings, the, I am that I am, the only begotten Son of the Father of the universe, the one we call Jesus Christ.
Let us now welcome into the house young Miss Rotkhinen Rondung Gobum, a Senior Secondary School (SS1) student that has disciplined herself to imbibe the principle of documenting and sharing with the Kingdom minded and success driven Teens and Kids of this Platform her very captivating and motivating story of her experience in school. She shares her experience in the just concluded first term, 2024/2025 academic session that commenced in Nigerian schools, in September, the last month of the third quarter of 2024.
As members of this Platform, you already know that one of the things we encourage is documentation and sharing of ideas, experiences and challenges and proffering of solutions as well. Apart from serving as a huge source of inspiration, documentation and sharing of ideas and experiences may earn one different forms of referrals. serving also as a reference point. Storing of memories and improvement in writing skills are other benefits, as well as contributing significantly to building our confidence and self-worth.
For those in Nigeria, and others resident in various parts of the world but have some friends and relations in Nigeria, and as a matter of fact those non-Nigerians following events in Nigeria, you are probably aware that the first term of the 2024/2025 academic session has just been concluded for the Christmas holiday. Being the first term in a new school year and barring any unforeseen circumstances, it is right to say that most students resumed the new term in new and higher classes; hence new experiences.
We welcome Rotkhinen Gobum on board your favourite Teens and Kids Platform and urge you and her to settle down as you read her first term experience as a Senior Secondary School (SS 1) student. May you be inspired by her story, and may the inspiration you will get lead you to also write and share yours on any topic and line of interest.
Before signing off, let me quickly note that it’s been a while here. I believe that in the interim, you all have sought opportunities to apply some of the lessons we’ve learnt in and outside this platform, thereby representing effectively what you are: Kingdom Ambassadors. Remember that the Holy book, the Bible through the scriptures enjoined us to be good ambassadors of the kingdom always. This is not possible dear friends and lovers of the kingdom of Jesus Christ, without being strong in Prayers and also spending quality time on regular basis reading the scriptures and sharing the message of Christ with other people and importantly doing what the scriptures say we should do, to be action oriented, i.e. “doers of the Word”. Be encouraged to keep it up if you are already doing so and to start up if you have not been doing it.
