NEW YEAR: GOOD TIME TO DOCUMENT THE SENIOR CITIZENS AROUND YOU

Hello dearly beloved Kingdom minded and success driven teens and kids. So far, how is the Christmas holiday going? Have you been able to utilize properly opportunities of the festive season to share things with other people, as a matter of fact beyond your cycle of friends and close door neighbours?

To the African Child, indeed the Child of the black race, have you been able to extend your love to the senior citizens, especially, the Grandpas and Grandmas? Have you found time to sit and hear them tell you their story(ies), their own experience(s) and the challenges they faced in the Season of Christmas and at other times growing up back in the days?

I remember drawing attention in a previous publication on this platform on an issue I consider very fundamental, as a matter of fact critical to the African Child, indeed the black race generally. It is centred on the notion that the death of a black man brings a library to a close.

Are you agitated by the statement above, especially those interfacing with it for the first time? Same question goes to those that have interfaced with the statement for some time now?

How many of such libraries near to you are about to close, owing to the fact that some aging Grandpas and Grandmas will soon travel to the great beyond?

Are you ready or willing to sit down with the aging Grandpas and Grandmas, to listen and hear them share with you their knowledge and experiences directly?

Are you prepared to commence the journey of documenting the story of the senior citizens? If you do, it will serve as your own contribution towards shutting one of the doors that leads to the close of a library when a senior citizen of Africa or black race joins his or her ancestors.

To avoid any further delay, it seems, in taking action regarding the above, our dear amazon, the lady of the moment, ROTKHINEN has decided to shake us up a little with her latest entry, a Poem with the title Death. The Poem will be dropping here early morning on Tuesday, December, 31, 2024, by 5am, Nigerian time. This will serves as an additional material or input to your New Year Resolution (NYR). Hope you will take action? Time alone will tell… and to ROTKHINEN Gobum, we say thank you.

I remain as always, your Anchor/Host
