2023 Presidential and National Assembly Election: Sharing My Thoughts With Teens and Kids 4

The second lap of the 2023 General election in Nigeria is here. The first was the Presidential and National Assembly elections that held on February 25, 2023, in the various states of the federation of Nigeria. The second lap in the election is the Governorship and State House of Assemblies.

For the teens that are under 18 and who encouraged people around who are up to the voting age to go out and vote and not let their votes be bought for whatever amount or with whatever commodity that was being offered to them, and those of you who used your various social media handles - WhatsApp, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Tiktok and others, to encourage them to vote, I say a big thank you. Same goes for those of you that are outside Nigeria but encouraged family members and friends living in Nigeria to participate actively in the election.  As the gubernatorial and State House of Assembly elections come up tomorrow, I say do it again.

For you that are up to 18 years and who exercised your civic duties by voting, I say thank you for being a part of those that came out to salvage our future from being destroyed by bad leadership from people who do not have the capacity to lead us. I also want to encourage you to come out again en mass to vote during the gubernatorial and state assembly elections coming up today March 18, 2023.

To those of you whose preferred candidates for the Presidential and National Assembly elections did not emerge as winners, let me also use this opportunity to tell you not to be discouraged. Always remember that things must not always happen the way we want them to. Do not refuse to take part in the upcoming gubernatorial elections because of the disappointment of the elections. Do not also allow it to make you fall into depression or harbor suicidal thoughts in your mind. Encourage your parents to participate, remind them that our future is at stake here and

Please be and encourage others around you to be agents of peace and co-operation during the election tomorrow. Remember to keep us posted on happening around you. Do well to lend a helping hand to whoever might need it
